چکیده
Background. The group of plasma cell neoplasms includes benign and malignant diseases. Sometimes there are difficulties in making a diagnosis. study the diagnostic prognostic significance immunohistochemical (IHC) markers is current interest. Aim. To IHC histological features bone marrow primary diagnosis patients with multiple myeloma (MM) monoclonal gammopathy undetermined (MGUS). Materials methods. included 287 neoplasms: MGUS ( n = 148), MM 139). observation period was 50 months. All have performed an aspiration biopsy examination analysis CD138 + , CD56 CD34 κ- λ-chains expression. Results. During progression to recorded 8.8 % 13) cases, determined 38.1 53) cases. With increase lesions (<20 vs. 20–50 >50 %), our interstitial diffuse lesion large accumulations more common compared nodular 0.001). expression 10 associated decrease progression-free survival MGUS. over osteodestructive syndrome detected X-ray methods 82.9 Determination immunoglobulin light chains indicated unfavorable prognosis. Resistance chemotherapy or disease most often occurred combination IgG secretion, according IHC, cells. progressed frequently 20 accumulation lesion, secretion two immunoglobulins. Conclusion. confirmed. Markers resistance identified.

Bone marrow immunohistology of plasma cell neoplasms.
The application of immunohistology to the spectrum of plasma cell disorders has yet to be incorporated widely into routine haematology practice. This technique enables the direct visualisation of specific surface and cytoplasmic antigens in the context of the individual cell and the surrounding anatomical neighbourhood. This review outlines the role of bone marrow immunohistology in the laborat...

Background: Previous studies about the relationship between bone marrow megakaryocyte count and the chronicity of ITP has yielded paradoxical results. The aim of the present study was to investigate any relationship between the megakaryocyte count in the bone marrow and the chronicity of ITP. Materials and Methods: This study was performed to compare the primary bone marrow aspiration megakar...
